Book your next event at the Oakridge Centre Auditorium!

The Auditorium is conveniently located within Oakridge Centre and is accessed through the West Mall or its own foyer entrance on the West Side of the Centre.

The Auditorium has a maximum capacity of 150 people. Additional features include a stage, microphone & podium, portable tables and chairs, washrooms and FREE parking.

Rental Rates:

Private Events

  • Banquets, Parties, Weddings: $ 95 per hour** plus GST with a minimum charge of $380
  • All-Day Event Rate*: $688 flat rate, plus GST

    Non-Profit Organizations

  • Proof of non-profit status required: $65 per hour** plus GST with a minimum charge of $260
  • All-Day Event Rate*: $470 flat rate, plus GST

    Commercial Events
    (Includes Meetings, Exhibits, Performances): $100 per hour** plus GST with a minimum charge of $400

  • Short Meetings: $280 flat rate, plus GST with a maximum length of 3 hours
  • All-Day Event Rate*: $750 flat rate, plus GST

    *All-Day Event: Fees apply to a minimum of 8 hours booking within the same date.

    ** Hourly rates will be charged for setup and take down of equipment, unless a setup fee has been paid to Ivanhoe Cambridge.

    When booking your event, you must include time for setting up and adequate time for clean up after the event. Remember, someone may have booked the Auditorium for use after your event.

    Please read the following restrictions before considering booking the Oakridge Centre Auditorium:

    • No Grad, Halloween, or New Year’s Eve parties.
    • No dances without a sit-down meal. Catering must be arranged by the renter. We do not provided “skirting” for the tables, or any type of décor.
    • Only low-tack painters tape or special, removable adhesive (to be pre-approved) may be used to put items on the walls.
    • You may leave only two bags of garbage, and the floors must be clean after your event or a fee will be deducted from the damage deposit.
    • Noise levels must be kept to a minimum after 11:00 p.m.
    • Everyone and everything must be out by 12:30 a.m.
    • Liability insurance, money orders or certified cheque fees are at the renter's expense.
    • If the event is outside the mall operating hours, security must be obtained at the renter's expense.
    • If liquor is to be served, the renter is reponsible for the liquor license and it being posted within the premises.

    Procedures to make a booking:
    1. Confirm availability by contacting Oakridge Centre Administration at 604-264-9221.

    2. Make a tentative booking.

    3. Submit payment of $100.00 per date as a NON-REFUNDABLE security deposit to hold the booking date.

    4. Sign and date contracts provided to by Oakridge Centre Administration. Please initial page 5 of the contract, which states that you have read the Rules and Regulations of the Auditorium. Return BOTH copies back to Administration Office (319 – 650 West 41st Avenue, North Office Tower, Vancouver, BC V5Z 2M9). You will be sent a file copy.

    5. Provide a copy of liability insurance. Insurance policy, at renter's expense, must have 2 (two) million dollars liability coverage and these five additional insureds: Oakridge Centre Vancouver Holdings Inc., Ivanhoe Cambridge Inc., Ivanhoe Cambridge I Inc., Ivanhoe Cambridge II Inc., and Omers Realty Corporation.

    6. Submit the balance of rental fee, minus the security deposit paid.

    7. Provide a $200.00 damage deposit in the form of Certified Cheque, Money Order or Cash, (this will be returned in full 2 weeks after the event, providing no damage or cleanup issues have occurred as a result of the event).

    8. Provide a floor plan for set-up, if you would like the set-up done for a fee of $107.00 (GST included) for private and commercial renters, and $53.50 (GST included) for non-profit organizations. Please Note: All the tables and chairs are available free of charge as long as they are put back exactly as stored, or a fee will be deducted from the damage deposit.

    9. If liquor will be served, a liquor license MUST be obtained, and it must be posted during the event.

    10. Please provide a copy of your non-profit organization certificate, where applicable.

    Additional Notes:

    • All cheques must be made payable to Oakridge Centre Vancouver Holdings Inc.
    • To make arrangements for a viewing contact the Oakridge Centre Administration Office from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
    • For access during the event or directions to the garbage disposal bin or waste area, contact Security at 604-209-2885.
